At Questrade, we are always looking for ways to simplify the lives of our clients and partners. That's why we're pleased to introduce payments through electronic funds transfers (EFTs).

Receiving your payments through EFTs is similar to getting paid using PayPal, except that your funds are deposited directly into your bank account, removing the extra step of manually transferring your funds from your PayPal account to your bank account.

In order to set up EFTs, update your profile in the affiliate portal with the following information:

1. Bank name
2. Bank #
3. Transit #
4. Account #

2011 has been a big year for Questrade.  We don’t like to disappoint, so we are keeping up with the trend and giving you a new reason to sing our praises and recommend us to your friends and site visitors.

 

In an effort to improve our client experience, Questrade has made a significant change to the way we handle trade commission rebates for new clients who are referred to us by our affiliates.  Clients will no longer have to wait until they have completed their 10^th trade to receive their rebate.

 

Beginning today (May 30^th), Questrade will rebate trade commissions from the very first trade.  We are very excited about this as it means that clients who are less active will no longer have to wait several months or even years to receive the promised rebate.  From now on, rebates will be credited to the client’s account within 3 business days of trade execution. This applies to any new client who is referred May 26^th and onward.

At Questrade we are constantly striving to improve our client experience.

 

Since the beginning of 2011 we have been hiring and training customer service agents at an unprecedented rate to keep up with our growth.  Because of this we have significantly reduced wait times for both phone and live chat interactions.

 

As we enter the summer, I am excited to announce that Questrade has upped the ante again by adding an innovative tool to the Questrade Customer Service tool box.

Notice to all Questrade Affiliates:

In the month of February, Questrade upgraded many of its systems.  Our websites have been redesigned, we’ve added more research and trading tools, and we’ve streamlined our online application process.  As an affiliate, you’ll notice your referrals will convert faster than ever.

Part of the upgrades included database refactoring. As such, you may have noticed that your commission data was unavailable for several weeks. I am pleased to announce that your commission data for February and March will be available for viewing beginning this evening (March 25^th, 2011) at roughly 10 p.m. ET.

The database refactoring process takes a number of hours to complete. Currently the process is running at about one day of data per hour.  As a result, commission data for March will be available to you at approximately 10 p.m. ET on Saturday.

I am extremely excited to announce that over this past weekend, the Questrade team has rolled out a series of improvements to our websites and our online application.  I encourage all affiliates to check out the newly redesigned Questrade.com. As soon as it loads, you’ll notice the sleek new look, a host of additional features, and simplified navigation. Aside from the new design, there are a few major changes that will have a positive effect on our affiliates.

Easier to open an account:
Our new online account application is easier than ever to complete. We’ve streamlined the application and added a number of smart features allowing clients to navigate, review, and send us the completed form and supporting documents online in a single, seamless session. What does this mean for affiliates? Your referred clients will open their accounts faster and you’ll get paid sooner.

Enhancements to myQuestrade
We’ve also introduced a number of new account management features to myQuestrade, our secure client website.

Account Summary
No more multiple logins! Questrade clients get a quick summary of their accounts as soon as they login, and by clicking the my accounts tab, they’ll see their account activity, balances and positions, trade history and more.

My Requests
All account requests have been consolidated and the process has been streamlined. Requests are processed faster and if a client has questions, a tracking number is provided for easy reference.

We’ve added even more research tools to help our clients:

•  Bull’s Eye: a do-it-yourself stock market research tool that offers online education and financial publications

•  Mutual Fund Centre: a great place for clients to get information on mutual funds
